  1. Hi,

I tried to demulti some MPEG2 movie (a Capture) and I edited the movie in Goldwave to remove the hiss. And I resaved it to WAV.

The problem is the demultplexed audio was in MPA format (using MPEG-VCR) . I can't remultiplex the files togheter with a different format.

GSpot tells me that the MPA file is a MPEG 1 Layer2.

What I should do to save the wav into the format required to Multiplex it ?

    thanks

use besweet, it has built in .mp2 encoder. what is your final dest. format going to be? DVD, or .avi for viewing on your computer?
If dvd it's not nessasary re-multiplex as your DVD authoring program will do that for you

  3. I am not sure what you are asking but, I just want it to be as the same format of the original file. It MPEG2 I think, captured video from my Hauppauge card.

I want to store the captures to DVD but not in a DVD format, just like files on HD.

    Hello,

you can convert to avi if your storing just the data files to save space. You can even use mp3 stereo in avi if you don't plan on converting it to dvd in the future (though of course it can be it just would save a step if you don't need to).

Use besweet, as lpn1160 said, then mux it back in.

  7. Is there any other program than Besweep?

I appreciate the fact it free but it too complex and the GUI doesn't make any sence to me.

  9. OK, I've played around with BeSweep and I figure how to change the encoder using MP2enc. But the output file produce hissing noise too

I try to change encoder from MP2Enc to 2Lame but I can't figure how to change bitrate of 2lame and the stereo mode.

    How can I do so??
