  2. I've worked on this off and on for 3 months, upgraded to XP, updated with the new drivers today, still no sound. I've got the same issue as you. I get sound when playing back a recording made with ATI MMC but not with VDub.

  3. i have finally got it to work, well not as it was before, after downloading the new driver for my soundblaster and getting the new driver for ati mmc7.5 (the skin is ugly!!!) i have notice that things are litle diffrent.
this is what i have noticed, dont know how to fix this but i can deal with just that problem:
u should have your sound connected to, i have it to soundblaster card line in, than go to the icon in your tool bar where your speaker is and click on it twice till u get the menu go to options, properties and click on recording click ok and make sure that line in is selected, what happens for some reason in my computer it de-selects for no reason and cd audio is always selected, so each time i record with vdub, or ati first i have to select line in and then i record and everything works, maybe someone can help me how to solve that problem but if not its not that big deal, i can deal with pressing just another function, but i wish everything worked smoothly, but that never happens there is always something, i hope that helped.
