  1. I was thinking of starting to make some animated GIFs to play around with. What free apps would you recommend for this? Also what should I know about doing it and are there any special features you can add like effects or transitions?

    "Animated GIF Creator" is the app name. You can probably find it almost anywhere, but I got it from the download section of www.zdnet.com

    When I first hooked up my 5.1 on my new comp I was playing Morrowind and had it turned up really loud.... dude walks by me then goes "hello, can I help you" from behind me. I nearly hit the ceiling...

  12. well gabi i basically use 2 softwares 1 is avi/mpg splitter and 2nd 1 is the 123 avi 2 gif converter.both give me quite good results.if ya want i can post a tute on that also

    Thanks, I already am a fan of the GIMP, and this will make it even better!
