    hi there,

    i have edited an MPEG and burned it to DVD - but i have realised ive left the ads in, normally i edit these out with Womble - now its on VOB format - whats the best way to load in the DVD files to edit - do any utils convert from the DVD files to a big mpeg so i can re -edit?

    or edit a DVD direct!??

    If you no longer have the original MPEG file, you can do this:

    Rip your DVD to your computer hard drive with DVD Decrypter IFO mode/no file splitting. Then you'll end up with one large VOB on your HDD. Now you can edit with Womble ad re-author...

    Or you can open it up with DVD Shrink. Use the start end feature under reauthor. Drag as many copies as you need to the left hand pane. Cut and chop until all the commericals are out. Then hit backup. You are done!
