Dazzle Digital video creator 150 and nero 6 ultra edition

I have the DVC 150 from Dazzle and wouldn't you know it thay went out of business (?) or bought out. Either way no tech support. I still have the program on my computer, however, I have purchased nero 6 ultra edition. My question is, can I use the dvc 150 to capture video that nero 6 can edit? Is there some conversion proceedure to transfer the capture video from dazzle to nero 6? Any information on this topic would be appreciated. TIA.

Hi,

DVC150 captures videos with LPCM audio, not MPG Audio.

I would try to capture a short clip at dvd resolution and try to import it in Nero. The recoding may only take a very short time (just audio).

You may want to look at tmpg dvd author, this can edit DVC150 video directly and convert LPCM to mpg audio "on the fly"(saves app. 20% Disk space).

The hard way would be to build a graph with graphedit from MS to convert the audio or do this with tmpg Tools : demux / convert audio only / remux. Takes some time.
