    Hi!
Im new to this forum and hope there is someone out there who knows how to make an Yamaha DVD-S796 player region free...
I've been searching all over internet, but found NADA.
Then somebody recommended this site and told me - "Those guys know EVERYTHING!!".
So I hope I'll get lucky...

    Tanx!

There are answers on this site to every question, but you have to be willing to spend some time actually looking for them. Aside from that, welcome aboard.

    Tanx m8!
Regarding the link - I've already visited that page, but that told me nothing about how to make my player region free...
Or could it be me that ain't reading it correctly?

Believe me when I say I've been REALLY searching for info regarding that "hack"!

Two possibilities: either there isn't a Region-Free hack for that player that doesn't involve hardware mods (possible... Toshiba fall into this category), or nobody has found out yet.

Other places you could try to look are newsgroups and search engines if you're really in need.
