  1. I was reading a thread a while back on the options but i cant seem to find it now.

I know how the Tv cuts off 5%-10% of w/e you have. So now i'm using Tmpg to covert it. Now i know there are 2 options with a 640x3xx. video. i need the measures. 1 is the shrink the picture to like a but keep the picture the same size. and 2 is to make the picture larger by adding borders making the whole video 7xx by 4xx's. I need the specs. i tired to do 10 all around with a border. it came out ok but it can be better.

It's in the resize options. I think it's keep centred or similar. What is your source ? TV and many movies already take this into account, so adding the borders doesn't really do much except show empty space (or worse, sometimes things like boom mikes and cables are left in the overscan because they know noone will see it.)

Do a search for tmpgenc and resize and I'm sure you will find it.
