    Howdy,
Has anyone ever tried to use this software? If so, how does it work or rank up to other software that does the same thing (ie Cool Edit Pro 2.0)??

Any and all input welcomed. Thinking about buying this but would love to see what others had to say about it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Darren :P

Do you plan on using it standalone or as a plugin ?

Do you currently have an audio editor ?

I've evaluated many of these Noise Reduction apps. They all have a tendency to make your source sound artificial, unless you use them sparingly. Problem is, if you use them sparingly, they don't remove the noise very well.

Certain NR filters work very well - Hum elimination, click and crackle really benefit. Hiss reduction/elimination hasn't been perfected, resulting in a warbly sound when you apply it to the source file.

My favorite is the pack from Sonic Foundry/Sony, but it is $300

Here are some alternate ones to evaluate
