ok when i try to back up some dvd's sometimes they dont work, when its finished and i take it out and play it on the dvd player for my TV it has like a problem that looks like what would be a VHS tracking problem ?? its not the burner/program/or media as other movies came out just fine, AND when i play it on my dvd player on my PC or XBOX its just fine. i am thinking possibly that im not doing somthing right for specific file formats... has anyone had this problem ?? and can help??? i use a NEC DL burner, and usually dvd shrink, but sometimes nero 6.0

  2. Check the compatability of your blank DVD's to your DVD player (the one to your tv)...perhaps you should try using a different type of blank DVD. Just a thought...if you look through this site you should be able to find if your blank DVD's are compatable with your type of DVD player.

well if it's not the burner, program or media that would make it either the video itself or the player. However, typically when some DVD work and others don't, that would indicate a media issue...
