  1. Here's the deal:
I downloaded files that were .mp4, and couldn't played them anywhere.
Checked the codec with Gspot, which said: "File Type: 3GPP Media (.3GP) [MP4 compat.]"
After I downloaded the 3gp codec, it played (only on MS media player, for some reason).
I tried every single program that should convert 3gp to avi\mpg, and non of them worked, some said that there's no audio (which there is, and I think it's ac3), some just didn't even try..
Here's a list of the programs I tried:
    Imtoo 3GP Video Converter
    3GP Video Converter
    River Past Audio Converter

This is one of the files I downloaded, they all hjave the same codecs:

    ed2k://|file|Transformers_-_1x07_-_S.O.S._Dinobots.(DVD).[www.the-realworld.de].mp4|167119119|C96B3D53DB84955BB463CA2ECACCC583|/

    Help?
    thanks..

3gp is generally AMR and mp4 is generally aac, neither can use AC3, mp4 can use mp3 though. ffdshow can decode both or coreaac for aac.
