.. multiple video files recorded with htc desire (mpeg-4) after joining with various video joiner tools on pc (simple avi or mpeg2) gives wrong/faster frame rate then original file, but when change frame rate in video joiner options - it gives same result .. is there a way to fix that? ..
thanks!

You did not mention what you used to do the conversion.
Try these tools out with your original videos for your needs:
format factory
ripbot264
xvid4psp
super

I have some similar video clips(3GPP Media Release 5), made with my mobile phone.. that are reported as 24.390 fps by g-spot, and reported by mediainfo..
Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 29.366 fps
Minimum frame rate : 9.615 fps
Maximum frame rate : 250.000 fps
And i got the best(closest to real) audio/video synchronization with avisynth using:
Code:DirectShowSource("D:\video.MP4", fps=29.352 , convertfps=true)
