I had collection of Titles that could easily be burned with my version of Nero (55.10.7b) Then I bought a new LiteOn SOHW-1633S (BSOH) that came with Nero Vision and I can't seem to find any way to use my already saved titles and burn them with this new Nero Vision! It seems to want to copy what I already have on my hard drive to another area on my hard drive ... and then gives me an error saying they don't comply ... or something like that! I must be missing something? The interface doesn't look anything like my old Nero .... should I go back? Does it just suck ... or is it me?

  2. Nero Burning Rom and Nero Vision Express are two completely different programs.
When you say "collection of Titles", do you mean video files? If so, what format (avi, mpg)?

My mistake on "Vision" ... should have been just Nero Express 6. My "titles" are videos written to my hard drive in VIDEO_TS folders ... ready to go. Seems I get a mpeg error when I try to use these files ... (which are not listed in the extension in file of "type"! I'm a little confused as to how I can get these already compliant files to burn to DVD? Before (Nero 5) I just drag the folder from the right window to the left window and click burn ... with Express nothing seems to work. Or I get errors. No information in help either.

I then removed Nero Express 6 and reinstalled my old version of Nero (55.10.7b) ... but then, and I should have thought of this ... it won't recognize my new drive. I went to Nero's site and found a cdrom6.cfg file, but nothing for Nero 5. And I'm assuming that this is for supported drives in Nero 6, since the site doesn't really explain what to do with it?? Any advice appreciated.

  4. Nero Express on the first splash screen, make sure you have your burner selected at the top.
Make sure you have a blank DVDR in your drive.
    Select DVD Video.
    Click ADD.
Add the Video_TS folder (overwrite if prompted).
    Click Next.
