  1. I have been happily using this product for some time now with no problems. Yesterday i created a dvd with motion menu and 8 items in it (very similar to dvds i am used to doing) everything wen fine until i went to burn the dvd. I clicked on the "burn project to disk button" and i got the following error

Since the error mentioned godmenudll.dll i tried to burn after removing motion menu and the menu sound to no success. I tried to open another project that worked fine couple of days ago same error

I went to ulead's site and downloaded the latest patches and tried again still the same. I downloaded the trial version from there and installed it and tried to replace the dll from there but the application did not even start. I tried to replace all dll's still did not start. SO i unisntalled and reinstalled the properone and i am back to where i started

I even tried to use system restore to go back a few days and try again. still the same error. I have not installed anthing that i can think of recently so i cannot see the error coming from there

i use this application alot and i really havenot find an as straight forward application and useful one to replace it. So please offer me any help u can

    thanks much

PS: i use XP pro serv pack 2

Wow, you've done most of the troubleshooting steps that could be recommended, including reinstalling the app. The only things I can think of are to remove SP2 and try again, or reinstall your OS, if all else fails.

  3. hehe. i used to work as tech support for a software company and i did not like people calling even before they try the most logical of steps (now u know why i left) . SO i wanted to do my part before i ask u guys

I was able to get bit further yesterday. I went thru recreating the same project and at first the error did not occur but after i made couple of insignificant changes and click save and try again to burn it gave the error. So it looks as if if you make changes too much and save after every change, after a while it gives this error. It does not make sense though

i thought of reinstalling the OS but i was not sure if it would write over all the updates i have got so far on XP

any other thoughts are much appriciated

So it might be something in the way you make your project? What happens if you try to create a totally different project, but saving just as often?
