  1. Hey! Been working on my DVD Menus for awhile now and while DVD-Lab does have plenty of features, it doesn't have anyway of making fancy sentences. I was wondering how i would go about exporting them from DVD Menu Studio to a DVD-Lab compatible format. If i do a generic export it will be recognized as a whole image instead of just the sentence. Thanks

  2. What do you mean, "Fancy sentences"?
DVDLab will allow you to use any font, at any size, any color, that you have on your system.
If you want to make a marquee scrolling type of sentence, do it in paintshop pro animation shop, save as avi, encode to mpeg, then import. Make it part of your motion menu.

  3. Sorry for the crappy gramma, just kinda forgot the word. By fancy sentence i mean when you add Bevel and 3D effects to lettres etc. Thanks

  4. When making motion menus how do i make it so the video doesn't overlap the TV safe area? Would i have to encode the video and add borders? Thanks

  5. Depends on how you make your motion menu.
I usually start with a static background (to which I've added borders), and add motion clips, which can be resized to whatever you want, right in dvdlab, on the menu. Right click, select resize.
Once you have the menu complete, then render the motion menu.
If you're using a video clip for the full size menu, then you could just leave it (it's only a menu), or add borders to keep it inside the tv safe area.
I've never done it that way though.

  8. DVDLab Pro has D-FX, as well as the drop shadow, transparency, textures, and everything built in. You have to look for it.

  9. Ok thanks for telling But the problem is if i import a menu in DVD-Lab. The text is recognized as a background object instead of well a text, so i cant edit it in any way. Thanks

  10. No, you need to do the editing beforehand if you're using an external editor. Then use hotspots for links.
