Taiyo Yuden and Ridata

I just purchased 50 injet printable Taiyo Yuden and my Nec DVD+RW ND-2100AD will not even recognize them, I brought in 1 sample Ridata and it is also not recognized but the Maxell I have give me no problem, could I have made a mistake buying 8x as the maxell are 4x. Thanks for any help I get.......................scotty47

The NEC 2100 is a +R only drive, are the TY and Ridata +R discs?

On a somewhat related note, I'd suggest you convert your 2100 into a 2500, which will enable it to burn -R media as well as giving you the option of upgrading to a better firmware. If you are interested let me know, I can point you in the right direction.
