Have some discs that I burned with some crappy media that I really regret. I have an Apex-1200 that will stay on Loading forever when I put the disc in the first time but if I simply reload it again it will play fine. I wanted to rip the backup and burn it again on some good media but my PC will not recognize them at all.
I have tried Decrypter and SmartRipper but they either report no disc found or report no TOC. I have tried several so-called "data-recovery" programs that either won't work or give me results that leave me suspicious about paying for the sw since there is no way to verify what the data is.
Looking at the color tone of the dye it is a light pink instead of the usual purple. Are there any PC DVD players versatile enough to read this or am I just SOL? Thanks

If these truly are "backups", then there should not be any issue whatsoever with just re-ripping from your originals and creating a new "backup" copy.
    If in doubt, Google it.
