TDK DVDs 2X and 4X help

Would some kind soul let me know the following:

I have the Panasonic E-50 and I have used TDK 2X discs in it since I have had this recorder for 2 years now and, I am not able to find anymore 2X but always see plenty of the 4X. What I want to know is, would the 4X discs record just as fine and play back perfect on other DVD players just as fine as the 2X always has?

I've never had a problem using TDK 2x, 4x or Memorex in my E50 and they all play back fine in various other DVD players.

On a side note, I picked up a spare remote (from the E55) as the layout is much better than the one that shipped with my E50. No hidden buttons. The remote is smaller too.

Do9999, thanks so much for responding. I am so glad to know that Ican use the TDK-R 4X discs and that they will work just as good as the 2X which as I had said in my post is what I have always used.
