  1. Whats up

I tried ripping a DVD with DVD Decrypter and then using Dr.DivX to turn the VOB files into a AVI file.

however every time i try this my computer reboots... I have no idea what the problem is, it does one pass and then reboots anyone ever see this or know of a good alternative?

  4. 1)Your computer might be overheating, this will cause your system to reboot
2)Are your virus definitions up to date
3)Goto http://www.download.com/RAM-Idle-LE/3000-2086_4-10277942.html?tag=lst-0-1 down load this programme and install, when you try to rip the dvd again watch ram idle
and see if the dvd rip is putting a strain on your ram and causing your computer to reboot.
