Whats up
I tried ripping a DVD with DVD Decrypter and then using Dr.DivX to turn the VOB files into a AVI file.
however every time i try this my computer reboots... I have no idea what the problem is, it does one pass and then rebootsanyone ever see this or know of a good alternative?

its an XP1500+ 512 ram (pc133)a good defense is a strong offense -
1)Your computer might be overheating,this will cause your system to reboot
2)Are your virus definitions up to date
3)Goto http://www.download.com/RAM-Idle-LE/3000-2086_4-10277942.html?tag=lst-0-1 down load this programme and install,when you try to rip the dvd again watch ram idle
and see if the dvd rip is putting a strain on your ram and causing your computer to reboot.
