Buttons in Spruceup

So far I like the program, but am having problems creating my own buttons in Spruceup. I would just like simple text buttons with a transparent background that highlight when they have focus from the DVD player menu. The buttons I created for Sonic DVDit in photo shop (.psd) cannot be imported even if I make them gif, jpg, or whatever... They get put into the backgrounds menu. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Have you tried the button maker within SpruceUp?

When you click on the Button to select different buttons it is at the top with the little arrow, then you can set the transparency level with the slider bar.

Then add the text to the button and then right click on set the movie to the button.
