  1. Hi all,
    I was wondering whether its possible to regain some qualities out of a divx format movie into somehow a dvd or any kind with a better quality. Can anyone tell me which program(s) I sholud use and is there a guide on how to do it.

    You can never re-gain quality that is lost. However, you can use some filtering in Virtualdub that may improve the look of the video and remove some noise, etc. There are a lot of VD filters out there. There are some guides here for VD and if you do a Google search for 'Virtualdub filters' you will find a lot more information.

    But generally, unless this is **REALLY** important, its not usually worth the effort.

    Yep it's always best to start from the ORIGINAL source as converting loses the quality.
