I have my comp hooked to my tv with good quality RCA cables. Picture is fine, only problem is: Volume is to low. I have to turn the sound on the computer up max to get somewhat low sound to the tv, which also of course makes a low humming sound. All my sound options on my comp are maxed, and the tv can only go so high. If anyone has any experience, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Thx for the replies. Yes, I have the players volume at max. Also turning down the computer volume erased the humm sound. However I still need to max the tv to hear the movie. (Bairly) Im pretty sure I just have an intergrated sound card. Maybe need better card?

Don't know what your setup looks like, but the Mic input on your soundcard will be MUCH louder that the Line-In input. Turn down you speakers if you try this.
