  1. hi i used dvdsanta to convert a avi file into dvd format and to burn it onto a dvd r and i got a problem when i play it on my dvd player it skiping a little not alot but just a little to were it mess around with your eyes.

  2. hey i got a simular problem
    i converted my wmv file with winavi
    and burned it with nero
    when i play the dvd on my dvd player
    the picture is just fine buth the music stops every second or so

    I' m not familar with dvdsanta or winavi but, how do the authored movies play in your computers? Try playing them from your harddrive. If that doesn't work ... problem with the authored DVD. However, if that works, try playing them from your burned DVDR. If that doesn't work ... poor media or bad burn. If that works ... probably poor quality media.

    What media are you using? What DVD player do you have? Check out the DVD Players and DVD Media links (under Lists) to the left.

    I would also suspect media...

    ...but I also notice that this year's crop of noobies, seem to be using DVDSanta and having problems with it's output....just an observation...

  5. oh im not sure what kind of dvd player it is it dont have any stickers on front or back got it from a friend of mine and for dvd burner its a teac dvd+rw dv-w58e came with the pc but im wondering if its my speed of my pc because i got 512mb pc 2100 ddr ram with a amd xp 2400 + processor and a geforce fx5200 128mb video card but if there any better programs i can use to burn dvd movies onto a cd r please to tell me because it happen to me 2 times allready and im guessing its dvdsanta or just the speed im burning at because when i burn a disc i see my pc light starts dark red at all times

    PC is fine.........it's better than mine
    if the video is sort of jerking every second or so, it may be a poor framerate conversion (going ntsc standard to ntscfilm by dropping frames can do this)

  7. yeah thats what i was thinking it could be is there anyways i could fix this and i got anouther problem i try useing clonedvd and anydvd and anytime i make a back up after it gets to like 30% my pc will restart its self ?
