The usual standards nowadays ... Sweet-n-Low & non-dairy creamer. BTW, for those who like instant coffee, I made a discovery yesterday. Normally, I buy 8 oz. jars of store-brand instant ... usually costing anywhere from $3.95 to $4.95. I was just intending to window shop in Dollar Tree yesterday and noticed they had 4 oz. jars of instant for a buck each ... and it tastes better than other instants I've tried as well.

Three cheers for Cobra, Bodyslide, & especially Kiki. Baileys in coffe has got to be the best, any time of day. In fact I think I'll have some right now!

And coming up this St. Patricks Day (or any day) don't forget the Bushmill Irish Whiskey.

As for Kevin, wasn't Pepsi a BIG-TIME sponsor for STAR WARS I & II? No wonder that's what he drinks.

If you ever have the chance, try Cubano coffee. That's expresso with LOTS of sugar. Talk about waking up! Geez!

  21. Long ago I worked with a Cuban-American. Great guy and made wicked strong coffee. I asked "Is this espresso?" "No maaan, Cuban coffee!" Wasn't long before I couldn't stand it any other way.

To answer the question, just damn strong coffee, chunky style. A donut wouldn't be out of place though.

  22. Yeah Jim - nothing like a coffee/whisky and a cigar. Don't know why the drink and tobacco mix so well, but there you go.

Epicurus8a - glad you approve. I like mixing alcohol with coffee. I don't like whisky in it, but I have tried and enjoyed Baileys in it once or twice. I usually have sambuca, but mostly I just like it straight from the grindings - black and unadulterated. I drink Java mainly - strong and tasty.

  23. I drink my coffee black with no sugar. In my area WaWa has the best coffee. Back in my drinking days a shot of Old Grandad or Jack Daniels in my coffee would get me going.

ACTUALLY it was mainly Episode 1. They ran the commercials just about every commercial break all the time. It was some huge-ass crazy 200 million dollar contract (don't think it was that huge but mega crazy). And actually I don't think they had as large of a campaign for Episode 2.

AND I liked pepsi BEFORE the promos :P Coke is too bitter....

Has anyone had Coke in southeast Asia? I've heard it tastes better than American because they use a different sugar.

I think it's because they use real sugar, and not that high fructose corn syrup.

Yeah it tastes better depending on the country. The sugar level
and degree of sugar processing is
adjusted per country. In Australia, for example, the sugar level
is much lower. In Pakistan Pepsi tastes much better, in China it is
hard to get a decent Pepsi. My favorite is German Coke but the
best ever made (but no longer) imo was a tie between Australian
    Export Cola and Canadian Cola.

BTW I'm talking can's here. Bottles and post-mixed stuff
    are filtered differently.

I drink so much coffee when I pee it smells like coffee, I shit you not

My folks got me one of those grind and brew timed jobbers for Christmas a while back and it's been the death of me. Every night before I go to bed I clean it out (one nasty thing about those is you have to clean them between uses) and fill it up to go off so that when I get out of the shower I can slug down a couple cups hot before heading out to work. When I'm late getting up I've caught myself getting into the shower with my coffee. Then at work I last about 2-3 hours before I take my "smoking break" to the coffee shop conveniently located about 100 feet from our front door on the same side of the street. I may get something as fancy as a latte (though the breve is my favorite) but usually just a large light roast. Then I actually go dry until I get home and finish off what's left of the pot from the morning since the thermal carafe keeps it hot all day. Even when I go out drinking I find myself getting Irish coffees a lot without even thinking of it.

Now, more importantly, which beans does everyone like? I like light roasts: Kona, Ethiopean, Kenya, and peaberry varieties. Was it mrtristan that roasts his own? Now that's a hobby I wish I had the skills to tackle
