  1. I'm new at this, please be understanding.

I transferred some video files from my Ilo HDO4 to my computer, which now has a Sony DRU-710A which came with Nero software. These files are at different speeds.

I'd like to edit them and then merge them into one file.

I managed to get the files into my hard drive. With incredibly limited help menus and documentation, I can't figure out the best way to use Nero for my purposes.

Any idea where I can get more info? I think I can follow how you take a file, move the start and end points. But what I can't figure out is how to merge them to a new file and then burn to DVD.

  2. I'm new too and I'm not sure if what I tell you is what you want to know. Here's what I do. Windows Movie Maker to make my video file - save to my computer as an .avi. Open Nero Smart Start - Photo&View - Make or Modify DVD - Add Video File -next,next,next, BURN. Of course, I use a rewritable at first. This is for DVD Burning.
