Nero Burning Rom problems!

Nero v6 problems, I think...

Anyway, so I've made my Video_TS folder, and everything seems fine, it plays 100% perfect when I select the source from my harddrive with my DVD playing software. But when I make a DVD-Video image (nrg) with Nero, the thing won't work! I get the menu, and the first 5 minutes of the video, and then it just stops playing. I've burned DVD's with Nero before, and they've worked fine, both as nrg's and actual DVD's.

Anyone know what could be the problem? And how to fix it.

What do you mean? The stuff inside the VIDEO_TS folder works 100% fine with my DVD software. I just direct PowerDVD to the folder on my harddrive and it plays, menus and all. Burn the thing to a DVD-Video image with Nero 6.6.x.x and the thing craps all over itself.

I used DVD Maestro to author it, went from .avi to .m2v with TMPGEnc eXpress. I've done this a few times before, and everything's worked 100%, including Nero, which is why I have no idea why it suddenly decided to stop working.

Well, there is 1 thing different, but I don't see how it could be the reason. Before, I had made my video files smaller. So each separate episode would fit into 1 .vob. But the one I'm having problems with right now, there are mutliple .vobs for each episode.

i was just asking if it maybe the dvd media that you are using

if it runs ok in powerdvd then i would try different media or different burning software

Use Imgtools classic to make an ISO and burn it with DVD Decrypter. If that works fine then the problem is definitely in Nero.

I tried that, during the ISO creation, I noticed that the file reached upwards of 12 gigs....
