    Can I use the component cable and the other "extra" cables that came with my AIW 9800 card on an AIW 8500 card as well? Or do I need the cables that come with the 8500 as well?

    The cables for my ATI AIW and AIW 9200 are the same. Have you checked with ATI's web page?
