Hi,
I would like recommendations for an audio editor as good as VD is for video. Prerer if it can recognize OGGs too.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know any details, but a friend of mine suggests Adobe Audition.
Audacity has always been enough for me... -
The program often thought of as the standard is Soundforge from Sony (formerly from Sonicfoundry). It's the same guys who make Vegas. Soundforge has lots of capabilities and filters, can import mpeg to work on the audio part, and Lordsmurfalso has some guides on his website to use it to cleanup audio. You can get a free trial for 30 days.
