    I just found this feature.Without tivo you can record programs and play them back later.Does anyone else use this function?

    Comcast has a cable converter box that has the pvr in it.

    They are starting to do on demand stuff, but they also have a pvr converter box.

    I talked to a rep not too long ago about it.

    I just called comcast.I cant actually record even though it appears so with my current box. I might junk the tivo. Tivo cant store HD and this will store up to 30 hrs HD and 120 non-hd.For 9.99/month.Thats cheaper than tivo and you dont have the equipment layout.
