  1. I recently got a laptop and installed kitecodecs to run all my divx/xvid movies. These codecs were recommended as they were supposed to include everything I need including media player light.

The movies run ok, but I dont' get any sound whenever someone speaks... It appears to be like this with all of my movies I have copied over to the laptop.

    Any Ideas?

So you get sound but not the voices? If so then it is probably an issue with AC3 and your speaker config.

  4. Yes, I get no voices (or stuttered voices) during DVD playback and mp3 playback now too! Must be the klite codecs? I have removed them.. but still the same problems.

    Any ideas?

Some of these codec packs aren't as easy to get rid of as simply uninstalling. Re-installing windows will reset everything, could be overkill though.

Yes, follow Baldrick's link. Identify the codec and then install it.
