I've been using Womble MPEG Wizard trial version for quick edits on mpg captures. Love it. I thought I'd try it on some old AVI captures I'd like to convert to mpg as well, but Womble message says the file "is Microsoft DV Type-2", and "Editor cannot find its codec on your system". I wasn't sure that Womble would work for this at all, but the fact that it says it's missing a codec seems weird. Especially since I've viewed these AVI's in Pinnacle Studio 8 without a problem.
Is it really missing a codec or just not meant to do this task at all?
Thanks.
