I hoped to edit some video recorded by my Samsung DIGIMAX i6 which records video as an avi file coded as XVID Mpeg4 file at 30fps. I can play and hear fine using Windows Media Player but when I import the files into Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD there is no sound. I exported the file just to see if the sound was there but not being played back by Womble but the exported file is also without sound.
Does anyone know if it is a Womble limitation or do I need another audio codec?
I tried another demo video editing program and the files open with a warning first frame:
"Nothing to output bframe decoder lag" but the file plays OK. I guess that must be a Samsung information frame??
thanks

thanks Baldrick,
GSpot says - mpeg (mp1/mp2) (0x0050) Microsoft Corporation. I notice with VirtualDub I got an error message about missing 0050 decoder although as I said the video clips play back fine.
