Does anyone know if DVD Shrink supports copying DVD-9 to Dual Layer media? I want to copy a full DVD-9 master to Dual Layer media. The problem is that Dual Layer media holds only 8.5GB. DVD shrink does a good job on single layer "shrinking" so that it completely fills a 4.7GB single layer disk. Will DVD Shrink reduce a DVD-9 just enough so that it will fill the 8.5GB capacity of a Dual Layer disc?

  2. yes....well not all commerical movies are filled to the full capaicty but if it is, u can't use dvdshrink to shrink it to the 8.5gb size. Just go to preferences and there should be an option that allows u to select dvd-9(8.5gb).

    Hope this helps

  3. DVD-9 = 7.95 Computer GB

    DVD+R DL = 7.95 Computer GB

No need to shrink anything. A DVD9 will fit on a DVD+R DL as 1:1. DVDDecrypter ISO Read / ISO Write is IMO the easiest way.
