Okay, I got my new ATI TV Wonder Pro Card all hooked up, and I am trying to make some copies of both TV programs and also some old video tapes too. I am running the TV source from a DirecTV TiVo box using the RE Out into the CATV conncetion on the back of thw card and from a JVC VCR/DVD player using Y cable into the composite video though the ATI Input connector.
The video capture is working great when it comes to the video portion, but there is one problem: the file have no audio whatsoever.
Am I doing something wrong, do I have a setting or something else not turned on, or is this an issue that I need to contact ATI about? I went to their website but they are closed till January 3rd for the holidays.
Just so everyone knows, I have an IBM Netvista with a P4 1.8 GHz processor and 256 MGs of RAM. Anything else you need to know about what I am running please just ask

How is the "audio out" connected to your sound card? If it's connected "externally" (from the line out to the line in on your sound card), check to make sure that "Line In" under recording properties (windows volume control...) is selected, and not muted...
if it's "internal" try "AUX" instead...
do you have sound while recording?
