    Hi

    I'm looking for a cheap (preferably a brand I've heard of) player that will play any disc thrown at it (including DivX - or is that asking too much??!).

    I live in Spain so it will have to be a model available here...

    I don't know if you can get these in Spain, but a friend back in the UK had a Cyberhome CH-DVD 400 and it played pretty much anything faultlessly (not sure about Divx / Xvid).

    He bought from WHSmith for 50 pounds (though now in the sales for 40).
    There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
