When I use Dvd shrink 3.2 to reauthor a movie, why do the video frames tend to freeze up when it's burnt to a dvd-r.

I'm using roxio cd-dvd creator 6.0 for burning. Do you think that roxio has a poor codec?

Burning apps don't have codecs. They're just burning apps.

The codec is used during encoding only - not when you burn the files.

It sounds like you might have issues with media. What brand are you using?

Try downloading and installing DVDInfo Pro is you don't already have it. Run it on the media you have, click the "Media Info" button at the top. Then post here what your Media/Manufacturer ID it returns. Chances are it's cheap media.

You can use DVD Shrink for burning, its an all-in-one process. Try that maybe.

You can use DVD Shrink for burning, its an all-in-one process. Try that maybe.

DVD SHRINK can be an all in one process if she has NERO BURN installed on her pc. She stated she uses ROXIO CD/DVD creator. Therefore she can not use DVD SHRINK for burning.

Even just having the trial version of Nero installed will work.

sounds more like a media problem than a buning problem

You can if you have DVDDecrypter installed.
Create an ISO and burn with DVDDecrypter.

Or you could create an ISO and burn with RecordNow. But either way you're not burning with DVDShrink- you're still just creating an ISO with Shrink and burning with something else.

I'm using dvd+r and dvd-r GQ discs 4.7bg

I'll try using dvd decrypt.
