Would you purchase a new mobo for a pent 3 933ghz chip or get a new pent 4 chip and mobo? The old pent 3 mobo died last month so I ended up building a new pc for my folks. I already have a extra antec case with a 350 power supply, dvdrom, hard drive, & nic. Newegg.com only has 2 pent 3 mobo's to chose from.
Is it worth keeping the pent 933 ghz chip? I'd appreciate any comments. Thanks in advance!![]()

If you have a 933GHz CPU, you should sell it and retire
Seriously, I wouldn't bother with a 933 MHz P3 by buying a MB for it. Get a 2-3 GHz P4 ...they're relatively cheap and you can sometimes get a deal on the CPU/MB combo.
