I am thinking about making my first xvcd and would like some opinions. I am stuck at a 352*240 resolution for capturing until I upgrade my computer.

What I am looking for is what type of xvcd's tend to be the best.
mpg 1 vs mpg2
constant bitrate vs variable
etc
