Hello Again peoples.
Ok, so I have my Anime Fansub issue squared away, but now I'm having another problem during the acutal burning process. please keep in mind im still a mild newb at this...
When I burn my dvds, for what seems to be no reason at all, the audio will be cut for a segment of the dvd. It happens once a dvd, never in the same place, and ends at the end of that segment. (meaning each break i put in the episode so i can skip to parts) I usually put in 4 breaks so i lose the audio for 1/4th of the episode. I have no idea what is causing this, nor do I have any idea how to solve it. I make sure to test the whole thing before I burn and every clip has sound. and I always burn at a slow speed.
My first Guess that it might be my program. I have been using Roxio Easy DVD Builder 6. (i know, theres better, but it came with the burner and thats all I can afford for now.)
I highly doubt that its my burner, as its still fairly new ive only burned say 8 discs at most. But incase you need to know its a TDK IndiDVD+-R RW CD 8x (which i never burn at)
The program is fairly simple, so i doubt that i am hitting anything to make it do so. But if someone else has had this problem maybe they could fill me in on what I am F'ing up.
Anyways, if anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Quit using ROXIO.
Get a real encoder.
Get a real authoring program.
And then burn with something.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

I haven't even read the story, just the title - it's Roxio.
Piece of shit - that's all you need to know.
rk1958's advice is what I'd do to.Regards,

There are frreware tools that will do a decent job. Try dvdauthor gui (authoring), QuEnc (encoding), or Diko (everything) Nyah Levi

I encode with AviSynth and Cinema Craft Encoder aka CCE BASIC.
I use TMPGEnc DVD Author and go as far as using it to create an ISO image file.
I then burn that ISO image file with DVD Decrypter.

I really don't like saying this but take a look over to the left of the page. Look at some of the guides and tools. Every one here does things differnet, and have their own reasons and opinions as to why. See what freeware you might want to try and go for it. The more that you learn about different soft ware and the settings the more you learn about all of video. I don't have a clue about why yours is acting like that, Maybe try it without the chapters to see what happens?
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
