  1. Hi, can someone please help. I've got software that is not working properly and i've been told to change my aspi drivers. This is what they have told me to do.
Please reinstall ASPI then try again. Please try other DVDs.

    1. Shut down any other burning software, antivrius, virtual CD drive, etc.
    2. Please download "forceaspi.zip" at: http://www.dvd-cloner.com/forceaspi17.zip ,
    3. Run "killaspi.bat" in the "forceaspi.zip". Then run "instaspi.bat" in "forceaspi17.zip".
    4. After that, PLEASE REBOOT YOUR PC.
Note: please install the above ASPI drivers(V4.60) only, don't use other versions, our software doesn't work with other versions!!!

I got to step 2 and a box appeared with "open with" in the heading line. I do not know what this means so I opened it with something called 3d mark but nothing seems to happen. I installed winzip and tried it with that.
I opened winzip and found killaspi.bat and double clicked it. A black box opened saying aspi layer killed. I then double clicked instaaspi and a box appeared with registry editor in the heading and it said.

Cannot import win9x\win9x.reg. Error opening the file there may be a disc or file system error.

I rebooted my system and the following message appeared.

Cannot find a device file that may be nedeed to run windows or a windows application.
The windows registry or system.ini file refers to this device file, but the device file no longer exists.
If you deleted this file on purpose, try uninstalling the associated application using it's uninstall or setup program.
If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.
    aspienum.vxd

How do I change the drivers like i've been told. If by doing this it will cause a problem can someone tell me how to put the original drivers back on.
    Many thanks.
