    When I saved a portion of my .avi with AviDemux, the name of that file, "test.avi" is shown at the bottom when I play that file. Is there any way to not include that information? Or is it beause I am playing it on VLC and that's what VLC does? Thanks.

    On the VLC Tools menu, select Preferences.
    Then, on the "Subtitles and OSD" page, deselect "Show media title on video".

    It's a VLC thing....it's not embedded in the video.
