asf /wmv1/ conversion ...help

joined allnet for $39 on kazza and downloaded files, but they only play on widows media. tried using virtual dub 1.3, ans asg tools to convert the format to a vcd so i can watch in on my tv...but it is impossible to covert or open the files anywhere else. there must be a way around this ...answers plese.

Is this somthing new,Or the same Scam,They make you think you have to pay to Download illegal Files this way you are OK doing it?

no, i cant get hold of these specific files, so i thought if i could download them as i have i could convert them...its a problem of converstion not because i dont download everything else ...any ideas...couldgive asaple ofthefile
