Many knowledgeable people will be around to help you in due time. In the meantime, could you be more specific about the AVI info, and what error message you are getting? That really helps others help you.

  3. The error message is saying that TMPEGenc can not open the .avi file, or it is unsupported.

    Thanks,

Could you run it through AVIcodec and tell us what the results are? There are many types of AVI. Maybe XVID with MP3 VBR audio which TMPGEnc doesn't like? AVIcodec or Gspot will tell you what codecs are needed.

Also, can you play the file on your computer?

It also helps greatly to fill out your computer profile.
