Hi Friends,
I have a problem here. I am using nero ac3 plug-in to convert a stereo wave file but I am going wrong some where that when I select 3/2 with LFE support i get only 2 channel audio
yesterday accidently I re-encoded the same file (ac3- 2 ch) and my amp started showing it as 5.1 but with no sound from SL, SR and LFE
What is the correct setting to use the plug-in ?
Also I need to know how to burn a 6 ch wav file (single file) with nero.I have multi-channel plug in but i get error. Can it be burnt as normal cda file and my dvd player (samsung e138a) play it as mulyi-channel?

You can't burn a 6ch PCM file to cd-audio standard, as that requires 44100Hz-16bit-2ch PCM.
Sorry, I had to go see about a girl -
Thanks for your reply.
But then what format should I use?
My dvd player supports mp3, cda and wma but does not support standalone ac3. Also it does not play 5.1 wma and I want to make a 5.1 ch file. -
Hello,
Besweet can output to 5.1 wav. You can burn that as an audio 5.1 cd. I've done it successfully before.
The besweet website has a ton of info and tools on audio conversions. It has a little bit of a high learning curve but well worth it for what you're talking about.
