Hello,
So what kind of mouse do you use??? I still use a trusty old traditional mouse with the ball.

All opticals. Just be careful of the mousepad (if used) or surface as some will cause the cursor to skip.

I think its the same model as a Microsoft one that retails for about $100 but without the MS logo on it.

Duh wait a minute... TEXAS IS HUGE!! An instate trip can still be LONG. Come to think of it, it takes quite awhile to go from southeastern MICHIGAN to the UP too

I was still in Texas, but I was a good four hours from home. You add to that the fact we were crawling at turtlespeed and it made for a long night.
I did not get in until about 9:30 last night and then had to unpack the car.
I think I finally went to bed at midnight.
I did not want to go to my in-laws to begin with.
Sorry...threadjack over. -

Trackballs rock my socks off. They're slightly hard to learn at first, but after about a week of using one, you'll not only be much more precise than using a regular mouse (due to the fact that the ball itself has a special pattern printed on it that's designed to be optically read, as opposed to your desk surface which could be anything) but strain on your wrist will dissapear. Whenever i'm forced to use a regular mouse I get pains in my wrist, but with a trackball, never. I only like the kind with the ball under my thumb, the ones with the huge ball in the middle are a little harder to use in my opinion.
