And I know you have to use a TV to use a game system/DVD Player, but I'm refering to using a TV to actually watch TV.

For me I'd say DVD Player. I hardly ever watch TV anymore, and I can get tired of the computer quickly.

The computer is used and turned on more, but it's hardly what I'd call entertainment.

TV, cable. I also consider VHS/DVD to be tv too. Same difference. The boob tube.

If you include videohelp as entertainment, then the computer ...by far. If not, then the tv

  11. Although I use a Computer longer hours I'm excluding work & Hobby stuff.

So Most used Entertainment stuff would PVRs(DVRs) AKA Tivo, Dishplayer, 721. I very rarely watch things live anymore, I'd rather record for watching later.

    Cheers

What's more worrying is the number of people who've burst their doll through "excessive use".

I use my computer the most.
I watch movies on DVD and Video Tape.
I don't watch much TV programming at all (my TV only hooked up to VCR, DVD player, does not have cable.)
People are encouraged to watch as least TV as possible. (http://www.whitedot.org)

My computer is my entertainment and media center. I use it for watching DVDs, playing video games, watching TV, listening to music, instant messaging friends, reading the news and articles, and everything else that is internet related and takes up so much of my time. My VCR is gathering dust and I gave my TV, DVD player and stereo away.

After that, I would say that I use my CD-MP3 player the most, and then my bass guitar and amp.

My HiFi is it. Once you've experienced true audiophile grade equipment and are fortunate (studpid?) enough to buy it, it's pure sonic nirvana and nothing else matters. Of course, your source material needs to be top rate as well (cds and vinyl only!). I listen to classical music, progressive and some contemporary rock, jazz vocals, modern country and broadway shows. I just sit and listen and do nothing else most of the time when I play my HiFi.
