dvd problems

here is what is happening
media = tdk dvd+r
burners = pioneer dvr-108 (desktop pc) (nero 6 software)
= nec ( in dell laptop) (sonic burn software)

problem media burnt on the nec will play in my xbox and yamaha dvd player and lg player.
media burnt in the pioneer will only play in the lg.

does anyone know what a possible problem could be, could this be a software of is more likely to be hardware issues.

Well, it doesn't take Capmaster (read: a rocket scientist ) to figure out that it's either the software (Nero) or media (the discs). Try using different media in the pioneer. Install Nero on the laptop and try it with the same media. Install Sonic on the desktop and try it with the same media.

i realise that the next step was to load the laptop with nero, however i thought that maybe the pioneer may prefer -r media and thought no harm in checking.
