  1. HI all,

I wonder if anyone can help me plases, I have audio and video (video captured from a PAL Sony DV camera) and would like to use the "output to DVD" feature of Adobe Premiere pro. I do this but when I use MPEG audio @ 224Kbps bitrate, I dont get an output on the encoded result, any ideas gratefully accepted please.

I'm wondering whether I will need to use PCM audio etc instead of MPEG?

Thanks in advance. stokefan_98NOSPAM@yahoo.com without the nospam.

    stokefan.

Was there audio on the timeline? Was the DV transferred properly? With audio? Correct DV type?

  3. yes there was correct audio all throughout the timeline of the movie. The audio was in the correct channel in the score as well

When the video was exported using "High quality, VBR transcoding of DV content (max bit rate = 9), SurCode for Dolby Digital 5.1" the audio worked but not very good quality

Just output WAV audio, separate file, encode video alone, no audio, and then go back and encode it separately to AC3 (freeware like Besweet, or payware like SoftEncode) or DTS or whatever.

Always better to encode video alone anyhow.

  5. no i don't really want to do them both at a different time, me and my mates are more comfortable exporting to DVD from Adobe Premiere Pro including using it's own audio/video encoding feature
