Think it would be better to time it when and where a convention is taking place. Comdex, CES, Infocomm, NANOG ... etc
-
CES is in January and I've got my tickets reserved. (Thanks Stilt) It's here in Vegas and it's probably the best place for a convention like that to be held. Especially for this happy & horny crowd. It's also one of the cheapest places to fly into and stay (depending on the hotel & room you're at). Plus tons of convention halls that are cheap and can be booked quick and easily. There might even be a chapel that will allow Cap to have a sacred union to Dolly.
J/K If one were to happen, I'd say Vegas.

I have no idea what those conventions are but dont care. I was thinking more along the lines of March or April allowing for some time to plan ahead.

Does it involve a nite of drinking & sex. If so, details would be good. If she was a fugly, just make eludements that she was attractive, so as not to destroy our imaginative process.

Flan's got a point - for us Brits, it's a 7 hour flight to NY alone. I'd be tempted to go to NY but no further W.

London it is then! that's only a two hour drive for me. well, probably more like five hours once i've dealt with the congestion charging and wheel clampers...
I know TGPO wants to visit england, and i'm sure Cap will come. it's also probably lots cheaper for americans to fly here than for brits to fly to america. -

Most of their presentations have only 10 - 20 people, so it's a pretty good chance. I ran out of cards last year before I got to their booth so I only sat thru one presentation and didn't win. This year I'll bring more cards.
