    I have serious audio problems on my computer. There is this echo on everything i play and its realy anoying. I have tried to update every single audio codec i have but its still there. The echo was there after i had installed the new divx codec But i have uninstalled it now..

    I restarted the computer now and it seems to work now? really strange

    this sounds for me as a microphone (from a headset or what ever) was used and will replayed (fullduplex) in the same time over your speaker
    What do you think?

    ..or, if you have a recent Creative card, there are many cool DSP settings for different kinds of echos and other effects, that affect everything that goes out the sound card. Either a echo setting has been activated by someone (then it shouldn't disappear after reboot) or it was just turned on by some software or solar flare activity or...
