A drama presentation was recorded and I was put to the task of making it into a DVDs to share with the cast. however, when I took the mini DVD that the camera uses and put it into my computer, i can run the video using "Power DVD", but i must turn my speakers to max to be able to hear any audio. i put the DVD into a normal DVD Player, and it works fine. When i use explorer to look at the files, the video is in .VOB and .IFO files. is there any was to get the normal audio with these files?

The capturing forum is only for analog capturing and not copying video from a mini dvd. Moving you.

You could just use AC3Filter to increase the volume while playing the DVD on your computer.

But if you want to increase the volume you must first demux the vob to audio and video files with for example pgcdemux. Then open the ac3 or mp2/mpa files in a audio editor like goldwave, increase the volume, save as a new wav, convert to ac3 with aftengui, reauthor/add back the old video with new ac3 using muxman, burn the new VIDEO_TS to a new DVD.
